Well yes it’s the last day of 2009! And well, as for new year resolutions, I’ve got four.

First, score straight A1s for my O-levels.

Second, build myself a pet bird robot and call it “Razor”.

Third, build myself a laptop.

Forth, build myself a submerged computer.

Of course, the last three has to be after the Os. LOL. But if I can get No. 2 done and bring Razor for robotics lessons in poly… LOL.

Anyway, yesterday I went to HPB, and guess what. The stupid doc said I had to lose thirty kilograms to be of standard weight. Wtf. That equates to one kilogram per month. Argh. And after seeing the doc, my mum made my dinners miserable. She scooped everything onto a plate with only one serving. No more self service. sigh…

Anyway, today I went to Orchard road and got some stuff for myself:

And a pair of Reebok Sports Shoes that are completely white so that I can wear them to school. Didn’t have a pic of that though. lol.

After walking around mum brought me to the foodcourt at the basement of takashimaya. I love the food. lol. This was the only meal that I was allowed to be exempted from the doc’s advice. LOL.

Anyway Dad and younger bro got back from Hong Kong today, Dad bought me a pair of gloves and a Fujitsu digital recorder pen. Not to mention, an ipod touch is waiting in line. Haha!

Oh wells. Nothing else I guess. Going off now. Happy New Year everybody!

Okay the cartoon above is called Pigeon: Impossible. It’s a short clip of 6 mins, but apparently it took about 5 years to make it. So enjoy the HD goodness everyone, and have a good laugh. Okay anyway, four days ago I went to Miss Tan’s house for the Christmas party, on behalf of 405 I would like to thank her for playing host to us. We definitely had a great time. Surprisingly, even Miss Lim Gwek Beng went! Together with an awesome cheese cake that she made. Seriously, it has the kind of taste that you can’t differentiate from those made by hotel chefs.

And I swear, Adywn is seriously smart for a kid nearing the age of two. He could tell who to give chocolates to, he can operate the camera, and he can listen to instructions to throw the ball real hard at me. -_-

Okay I’ll just be random since I cannot remember things in sequence anymore. Serene started calling me “guy who got shot by rifle” (LOL), I used this artificial snow spray and messed up the windows in Miss Tan’s house. XD Miss Tan’s house is huge. It has two storeys and even a balcony.

Okay I can’t remember anything else. My memory’s getting worse. However, I do remember Miss Tan inviting us back for Chinese New Year. Awesome.

Anyway these few days I’ve been  hooked on ASUS Motherboard Mayhem online game. As quoted from Hardware zone: “Just visit http://event.asus.com/xtreme_design/mb/mayhem/ and play the game from 14th Dec – 28th Feb 2010.

The top 10% of high scorers get a chance to win Xtreme Design motherboard! ph.asus.com”
The last line is the important one, and it’s the one that drives me to keep playing it. Problem is, I really don’t understand how to score points in that game. I end up at level 50 with my personal highscore of 411903. But that leaves me in 3702 place. How the heck did Rradical@ES (the new #1 guy on the highscore list) get 976279 at level 50?! What the heck man! I’m soooo far away from being in the top 100. Sigh…

Speaking of Hardware zone, they released their top 100 list on gadget and tech, so calling all geeks, be sure to check it out! :D

Okay, today Dad and younger bro (that lucky bastard) left early in the morning to the airport because they were heading off to Hong Kong. So mum decided to bring me to watch Avatar. We watched the normal version because Min Jian told me that 3D didn’t make much of a difference. But, this is the best movie I’ve ever watched. The movie was so awesome, the storyline was so well crafted. James Cameron spent 237 million dollars on the movie, making it one of the most expensive movies ever made, but definitely every single cent spent was put to good use.

Okay so now I’m back at home, I just finished eating the dinner I cooked. Not bad for someone who haven’t cooked for years already lol.

Okay gtg. I’ve still got reports to finish up.

Nitrixflare

Yes we CAN.

Guys I really need your help. If you have drink cans (I know you do.), especially during Chinese New Year, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep for me!

I really need these cans.

Thanks!

Update: 20 December 2009

Okay buddy just reminded me that Mr Yam was leaving Art Club. Now now, we can’t leave him just going off like that can we? We’ve planned this:

speed sketch mwahahaha.

And yeah, I’m gonna make that. And buddy kindly agreed to help me take photos for worklog. Too bad she tempts me with fish fingers over MSN. XD

Been a long time, but I’m back. After a shopping trip recently with Twinee, Fiona sis, Cordilla and Christy, I ended up in the most f***ing state ever. I got the better of myself and gave twinee a good scolding for a bloody good reason. And to Mr Nicholas Teo, listen up, and listen good, you asshole. Calling for emergency is no bloody ass joke. Try calling the cops with nothing to do. Don’t you ever let me see your face or regret it.

Grrr.. That day I ended up with high blood pressure wtf. Then the next day I ended up with gastric flu and fever, and now urinal infection wtf. Wth is wrong with me. Anyway went for tuition as usual today, Miss Lee was going to get dispatched away to Bishan branch from January onwards, I decided to transfer over. So yeah. She was very nice, I went to class early by an hour as usual, so I realised I forgot to bring my notes (Recently I’m so blur from all the medication I’ve been taking), she kindly photocopied everything again for me. Then she even asked if I was okay since she said I was very pale and I kept going to the toilet. Later she told me to get some sleep before class started. Indeed, I fell asleep, but thank god I managed to wake up two minutes after class started to prevent any embarassment. She didn’t wake me up because she knew I was sick.. After class she even gave everyone christmas presents. Everyone got two pieces of ferro rocher and a gingerbread man (no kidding).

With a teacher as nice as that, why wouldn’t I want to transfer over to follow her class?

Anyway I got home directly after class without buying dinner since I didn’t want to severe my digestive system from the predicament that it was already in. Got home directly, dad immediately brought me to the clinic to change my course of antibiotics since I was suffering from side effects. Got home, younger bro was being an idiot, wanting to watch Wipeout Australia on AXN and not letting me watch Stealth. -_- He watches that every week, and hello? Last time Stealth played on TV was like a f***ing year ago. =_= Selfish a**.

Argh whatever. I’m going to catch Avatar in 3D on monday, and tuesday I’m off to school for a meeting again. Might want to head to school earlier to get some work done on my harddrive.

Well, I’m back from the supposedly “305″ chalet. I find the term really stupid since we should just call it group chalet instead. Where the f*** are everyone? What kind of utter bull is this, when out of a class of 44, there’s only like 10 plus present. God, this has to be the first time I’m so bloody f***ing disappointed in my class. To those who went, thank you. To those who didn’t go, unless you have a decent explanation, then to heck with you. Breaking your promises when you said you’d come makes you a really shameless person.

I totally didn’t do anything since I ran low on money, and there was no biking so I brought gloves for nothing. Thanks twinee for dropping by. Peter, despite being seriously annoying, was kind enough to lend me his run-down laptop to play plant vs. zombies. Even though Joanne and Valerie think that the game is lame, to heck with that. I like playing it, so that’s that. (Once I played for three hours straight since they went to karaoke – I’m not allowed to go such places so I had to keep myself busy)

Anyway had a late breakfast this morning then left, called up dad to meet up with him, went to Hougang Mall for lunch at Xiao Xuan Feng.

I got back home and managed to watch some TV and play Joint Operations: Phoenix Rising (god I miss that game) before I racked here doing work. I seriously cannot stand people’s f***ing nonsense and pms-ing for no god damn reason anymore.

8 December 2009

Oh wells, this morning I got my maths done and managed to finish my gantt chart and report right on time. Went off for lunch, returned and played a good two hours of PSP. I left the house to get to the airport, only to pleasantly surprised to find Felica on the same bus as me! I walked to the back and sat down, only to realise this girl beside me who kept looking at me. I turned and saw her! Haha. Anyway, I said goodbye to her and waited for Bus 27. Seriously, here comes the first reason why I HATE Singaporeans. Usually when you board the bus you form a queue right? Oh well. They just rammed right in front of me and filled up the whole bus right to the entrance. I was the only one who could not board. wtf. They nearly made me late for my meeting! >:[

Left with no choice, I could only wait for the next bus. This time I managed to get on. Thank god. But why are Bus 27 always so crowded? Jeez.

Apparently my mum’s bus route book was outdated, the bus reached terminal 3. Well, before there the Certis Cisco Axillary Police officer came on board to check the bus. I discovered that they even had a mechanical road block to stop the bus. Wow. If I didn’t remember wrongly, the roadblock was invented by ST Kinetics.  Anyway moving on, we managed to have our meeting done at Mac Donalds. Seriously. Going down all the way to the airport to have Macs. Why didn’t we just go to Hougang Mall or somewhere else instead! Oh and I saw one police officer and three soldiers at the airport, the police officer was carrying an MP5 SF (single fire) and the other three soldiers were carrying SAR21. Okay guys, those who know me well enough would know that I completely hate the SAR21, but after seeing it today, I thought I had to give it some credit for the quality of machining of the assembly. Oh wells. Haha. Oh and I saw this really cool recycling bin around the airport. Maybe we should make one of these too for our project?

Pretty eh? Haha. After the meeting I went home boarding 27, together with Tiffany. Got home finally, and nearly got rammed by a stupid cab driver. =_=”’

THAT’S THE SECOND REASON. There are so many blind drivers in Singapore dammit. No signal lights, no slowing down, no regard for human life. F***.

Argh forget it, before I get hi blood pressure again. Macs wasn’t enough for dinner – the grill tepenyaki burger was really really good, but it’s so freaking small and it costs 4.60 for just the burger. -_-

Went home, mum still had a little left over curry. I finished it up, and god. I realised I forgot to take my cup of water out of the freezer. It froze up, the whole plastic cup became bloated and cracked! Argh so much for my stupid short term memory. I should build some kind of alarm on my damn refrigerator.

Lastly, I just came up with an idea for a DC fan unit with everything built in. I’ll do a CAD diagram when I have time to show you guys.

Cheers,

Heehee *sheepsishly*, guess I’ve got some apologising to do. First to Serene, I’m so sorry I didn’t managed to update earlier. Wish I could, but Nitrix is really busy, you know! And second to Miss Tan, yes, it’s true I invited a whole bunch of people to your house for Christmas, and yes, you have the right to get angry at me. But look at it this way. You’re not teaching anymore. This would probably be the last time you’d ever see them. So just save it for once yeah? And I need to thank Twinee so much for lending me homework to photocopy twice because of my short term memory. And lastly, I’m sorry Fiona, if you think I’m mad at you or anything. If you really just can’t stand it, then fine.

Anyway, today I went to Yio Chu Kang Sports Complex to watch the Badminton team for their matches, and I got a kickstart in collecting cans for our project. Somehow I realised that 100plus is acidic. I placed the cans within a plastic bag, and within minutes I had a major leak in the bag already. The same thing happened again when I bagged it later. So I took no chances, I placed the whole thing in another two plastic bags. Eventually I still ended up with a mess on my shorts and my bag. I got home and washed up everything. 17 cans if I didn’t remember wrongly. And they used a lot of water. I don’t know how the guys are going to do the rest of the cans. Oh i forgot to mention, I got to Yio Chu Kang by the Circle line from Serangoon, but I must say, the Serangoon Circle line station, is the most awesome in architecture that I’ve ever seen in a station before. It gave me this good industrial- aircraft hangar feeling.

Anyway moving on, this week’s gonna be a busy one for me. I ain’t returning home for dinner for the whole week. I’m serious. Today I had take-away after the badminton match, tomorrow I have a meeting at Terminal 3 till late, then wednesday to friday is class chalet. If only all my holidays were this eventful, I wouldn’t dread holidays at all. Nothing much left I guess. Oh a little update on my harddrive project, I’ve gotten rid of the PVC do up, gotten rid of the foam do up, and I’ve pretty much discovered my mistakes in the aluminum chassis. So I’m going all out for my last chassis. This time, it’s going to be extreme in measurements. I’ll make sure everything is flawless and compact. Oh wells. So much so for being a perfectionist.

Cheers

Hi guys! Nitrixflare is finally back! Haha well previously I had been grounded so that meant no computer for me, but oh wells! Now I’m back! Today buddy came back! Haha I gave her a big huggie on MSN. XD Seriously, missed her. Anyways, I’m gonna talk about everything that happened these few days (well, good stuff is worth mentioning, right? hahaha) Okay everybody knows I’ve got short term memory, so I’ll just back track to Open House. So I got to school early in the morning, met Mr Zhuang, asked him a ballistics question. It might lead me to something for my design for an anti riot shield.  Okay anyways, nobody would care. So back to the topic, I got everything set up and even got my Art Club t-shirt! Hey I designed the shirt, so it’s my pride! :D So here are the balloons when we finally got it done:

:D For once I like balloons. LOL. Anyway, I went off at approximately 9am and headed for the workshop, for the work that I love to do! Unfortunately Mr Kaz was still refurbishing the workshop so I couldn’t do any work! Poor bandsaw. I bet it’s begging for me to use it LMAO. So nevermind, I just hang around and talked to Mdm Pok. At 12 I left school and went to Hougang Mall to get a cake for my dear twinee. Black forest from Four Leaves ^^V

Haha met twinee in guzheng room back in school. Aww my twinee was so chio! Haha. Okay enough teasing. At around 3 Mr Yam announced for free balloons, and the Chinese Dance girls went crazy! You wouldn’t believe what happened. They immediately dashed out of the hall screaming and down the stairs. o_o

Then Mr Yam came out of the general office, to the surprise of a huge bunch of girls who wanted balloons. Anyone could tell that the Chinese Dance girls loved balloons. This girl, I used to teach her DnT, don’t know her name though, she was literally collecting balloons like a little girl plucking flowers from a field. She grabbed this HUGE bunch of balloons. Anyway, then teachers came to get balloons too. Mrs Ng, Mr Too, yeah. So after that I dashed back to the DnT room to grab my bag and ran for my meeting.

I could have gone home at 3.30, the meeting dragged till 5.30. Well, no choice, these things call for dedication!

Okay moving on, I think a few days later. I went to twinee’s house to pass her the I Robot disc. I saw this car downstairs, it had awesome decal work!

LOL, then move on again. Three days ago. I actually managed to make a styrofoam (or should we call it polystrene, since the Copyright has expired) prototype model of my harddrive project! My idea was to cut the plates out from 5mm aluminium from the workshop XD It’d take me hours lol.

I’ll be thick skin and say that it actually turned out pretty well. ><”’

Haha. But nothing lasts, after a few hours of appreciating it, it ended up in the bin. :P

I decided to cut the crap with the stupid 5mm, and use back the old chassis instead. After using loads of tissue and Autosol (Autosol seems like a magical abrasive cream that can get rid of any kind of marking LOL. I used to much that my room reeks of it XD ), I managed to scrub off all the glue goo from the piece of aluminium. Then I dropped by the hardware store and got an Eclipse mini hacksaw. Sigh… 8 bucks gone, only left with 6. Thank god my mum gave me another 8 bucks to go buy another file tomorrow. Or else I’m broke. After hours of slugging with the hacksaw, I actually managed to slice off the desired portion. So I just need to file that thing and drill the holes properly. Then I’ll need to do wiring, three USB extension cables. That’d be 24 bucks more. Anybody care to be my sponsor? Think of it as some Christmas present or something along that line? LOL.

Speaking of Christmas, two things. FIRST, MISS TAN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY! AT HER HOUSE! YAY. People please do come! I bought presents for her family already lol. I can’t remember her address, just look out for the noisiest apartment. XD

Second, I want a CRAFTSMAN Electric Jigsaw for Christmas!

Either one of these three please! Some kind soul please get one for me from Sears.com

:D

Oh and lastly, I dropped by ryanseacrest.com and I saw this!

OMG OMG. I’m going gaga again! My favourite movie having a sequel! WOOTS! May 7! Definitely marked on my calendar! HAHA!

Okay gtg now! Bye!
